Stephanie M. Watson has served the Social Work/Social Services program and administration field since 1991 offering time-tested and innovative services and consultation in non-profit growth and program development, as well as grant strategy, funder relations, and proposal writing. Through her capacity building and business development work, she works at the intersection of “all things nonprofit” and helps her clients develop strategic solutions positioning them for growth and deep individual and community impact. She has extensive working knowledge of non-profit and governmental agencies, organizations, and systems, and integrates it with in-depth best practices and comprehensive service delivery.

Her niche is working with children and families, child welfare, child abuse prevention, mental health and substance abuse, homelessness, public health, domestic violence, and educational entities, and often cross-pollinates programming and practices. Since 2010, she has raised more than $4.2 million dollars for her clients from funders big and small.

Stephanie also serves as part-time faculty at Georgia State University in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, where she teaches about best practices in the field and highly-effective non-profit organizations and guides her students in preparing solid and compelling grant proposals.

Stephanie received her Master of Social Work, Administration and Planning degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and her Bachelors’ degree from Furman University in Early and Stephanie received her Master of Social Work, Administration and Planning degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and her Bachelors’ degree from Furman University in Early and Elementary Education, Special Education, and Studio Art.

She is currently writing a book and is interested in pursuing her doctorate. In her spare time, she spends time scrapbooking and creating memory books for others, walking, reading, connecting with friends, and raising her three active boys.
